Ricardes Matthews is the genius cousin to Clifford Matthews. The two share not only a family history but a taste for gene manipulation. Clifford's and Ricky's goals differ, but they have always worked together since they could walk. Often called Ricky M. his multiple doctorate degrees don't reflect his lack of social skills. His brothers have determined he should never have relations with women and actively sabotaged his attempts to do so. No one so much as his brother, Michael. Ricky becomes infatuated with Rachel Monroe and must possess her at all costs. He just has to make a few tweaks to her DNA and offer her husband a better deal. Nothing goes as planned. Rachel becomes a human weapon and only time will tell who she aims at.
